Archive to Concept Routes

This migration keeps the evidence archive intact while replacing low-value public route shapes with canonical pages.

Route Mapping Pattern

Legacy route familyCanonical target family
/{site}/source/{slug-hash}/part-01//sources/{site}/{source-slug}/ or a specific /topics/.../ page when the chunk supports a concept.
/{site}/source/{generic-file-hash}//sources/{site}/{descriptive-source}/ or archive-only/noindex if it is a low-value code mirror.
/{site}/source-files/Keep as an evidence shelf, but link from /sources/ with clear archive framing.
/{site}/system-memory/Keep as maintainer evidence; promote durable choices into /decisions/ and /operations/.
/{site}/research-memory/Promote durable concepts into /topics/, with source records attached.

Immediate Cleanup Standard

  • Add a concept-first top layer before deleting or redirecting old paths.
  • Create explicit redirect maps for high-value legacy URLs.
  • Rewrite internal links to canonical targets.
  • Keep source records for provenance.
  • Remove raw chunks from primary navigation and segmented sitemaps unless they are deliberately archive-only.

Example

/fftac-org/source/books-on-the-antichrist-2b793fdc/ now has a curated source-record wrapper at /sources/fftac-org/books-on-the-antichrist/, while the public topic lives at /topics/antichrist/books/.
