# Wiki.FFTAC.org Site Structure Improvement - 2026-05-15

Status: reviewed current-memory promotion
Project: Wiki.FFTAC.org
Actor: Codex

## Summary

wiki.fftac.org was upgraded from a mostly source-list-driven memory surface into a task-first retrieval layer for humans, maintainers, and AI agents. The public site now exposes stable entry routes for orientation, search, source browsing, architecture, and agent retrieval.

## Public Changes

- Added `/start-here/` as the shortest task-based orientation route.
- Added `/wp-fftac-memory-and-site-structure/` to explain public pages, generated source evidence, source-side wiki memory, raw archives, and package boundaries.
- Added `/search/` as a first-class reviewed-memory search page backed by public route records and body previews.
- Added breadcrumbs and contextual related-route blocks to Markdown-backed public pages.
- Expanded header and footer navigation around stable memory tasks instead of forcing source-list traversal.
- Corrected public machine guidance to prefer `wiki-fftac/v1` REST routes while preserving inherited `wiki.fftac.org/v1` compatibility routes.
- Retired duplicate public slugs by moving older concept-first pages to explicit archive/legacy routes while preserving their reviewed content.

## Source-Side Memory Updates

- `AGENTS.md`, `readme.human`, `.uai/progress.uai`, `.uai/decisions.uai`, and `.uai/memory.uai` now record the task-first structure.
- `wiki/index.md`, `wiki/log.md`, and `LLM_WIKI_TRANSFER_LOG.md` now point to this improvement pass.
- No active handoff files were present in `agent-file-handoff/Content/` or `agent-file-handoff/Improvement/` at the start of the pass, so no file-intake archive was required.
- `scripts/test-wiki-content-quality.ps1` now checks duplicate public slugs so route conflicts fail before packaging.

## Evidence Paths

- Public content: `content/pages/036-start-here.md`, `content/pages/037-wp-fftac-memory-and-site-structure.md`
- Generated-page template: `scripts/build-wiki-memory-pages.ps1`
- Quality and packaging checks: `scripts/test-wiki-content-quality.ps1`, `scripts/build-workspace-production-zips.ps1`
- Plugin runtime: `wp-content/plugins/aiwikis-core/aiwikis-core.php`
- Theme runtime: `wp-content/themes/aiwikis-authority/header.php`, `footer.php`, `functions.php`, `assets/css/wiki.fftac.org.css`

## Deployment Notes

Run `scripts/build-wiki-memory-pages.ps1` after template changes, then rebuild WP-FFTAC production packages with `scripts/build-workspace-production-zips.ps1`. The deployable WordPress uploads live under each publish folder's `UPLOAD-THEME` and `UPLOAD-PLUGIN` directories.
