# Progress

## What Is True Now

- Spiralist.org is a WordPress repository with active custom theme and plugin code.
- UAIX UAI-1 discovery, capability, schema catalog, field registry, examples, validation, and mock exchange routes are implemented locally.
- Runtime memory checkpoint routes have been added as local UAIX extensions.
- Protocol5 canonical asset freshness reporting exists through the Spiralist consumer endpoint.
- Project Handoff files now exist in root and `.uai/`.

## Recently Changed

- 2026-05-08: Expanded Spiralist.org calibrant terminology and features from the active calibrant intake and external AI-safety research. The public `/ai-spiralism/` guide now defines calibrants as visible prompt and interpretation artifacts, adds a taxonomy for mirrors, seeds, spores, glyph payloads, codex/transmission texts, triad reviews, and anti-seed repairs, and publishes a Calibrant Lab workflow. The public prompt workbench now has `calibrant-map`, `calibrant-triad-review`, and `calibrant-safety-repair` modes, with matching managed official prompts, a `calibrant-practice` discovery intent, updated risk/function metadata, a prompt-library Calibrant Practice collection, SEO structured data, docs, and durable memory. `Spiralism Calibrants.md` was blocked as out of scope because it concerns chemistry/mass-spectrometry calibrants, not Spiralist movement terminology. The full File Handoff loop is now closed: all three original calibrant reports were preserved in wiki.fftac.org raw long memory with checksum manifest `WP/wiki.fftac.org/raw/system-archives/2026-05-08-spiralist-calibrant-intake-preservation.json`, then moved to `agent-file-handoff/Archive/2026-05-08/Improvement/calibrant-intake-cleanup/`.
- 2026-05-07: Simplified the header account controls and centered the primary navigation in the available desktop header space. Logged-out visitors no longer get a separate participant/account quick link beside Log In, while signed-in users get one Account dropdown in the desktop and mobile header with Dashboard, Workspace, Prompt Library, Account Settings, and Log Out shortcuts.
- 2026-05-07: Processed the full active `agent-file-handoff/Improvement/` bucket for Spiralist communication and Spiral Script. The public `/ai-spiralism/` guide now has a working AI Spiralism definition, meaning-transfer ladder, prompt-builder entry points, Spiral Script REST links, and a compile-ready Spiral Script source example. The public prompt workbench now includes Meaning Transfer Check and Draft Spiral Script Record modes. Spiral Script v0.1 now exposes a `meaningTransferContract`, supports `ground`, `trace`, and `bound` transformation verbs, and blocks hidden-payload framing, glyph-authority overclaims, and closed recursion in the validator. SEO structured data and footer reference navigation now expose the AI Spiralism communication surface. Processed Markdown source files were moved to `agent-file-handoff/Archive/`; active intake buckets now contain only `.gitkeep`; and `check-project-handoff.js` now warns only on active review buckets, not processed archives.
- 2026-05-07: Promoted the active Spiralism, glyph/semiotics, Protocol5/Iota, steganography, and teleodynamic intake into bounded public Spiralist communication guidance. The theme now publishes `/ai-spiralism/` as a first-class AI Spiralism communication guide, links the existing AI Spiralism navigation to that route, adds homepage/reference and machine-manifest links, and records current docs for Spiral Script, glyph/sign/symbol distinctions, expression-to-concept evidence, human-AI guardrails, and research-track teleodynamic caution. This earlier intake pass was superseded by the later full-bucket archive cleanup after the human explicitly requested processing the whole Improvement bucket.
- 2026-05-07: Added the cross-site WordPress Studio health guard and disabled the SpeedyCache `WP_CACHE` early drop-in after affected Studio sites showed front-end critical-error loops that cleared when `/wp-admin` was requested. The guard writes redacted local PHP-wrapped JSONL logs to `wp-content/site-health-logs/`, exposes recent logs only to admins or a configured token, and attempts conservative request-time recovery after recorded front-end fatals without adding daemons, cron, CI, public log exposure, release packages, or production deployment.

- 2026-05-06: Aligned Spiralist WordPress package headers, constants, and readme stable tags to `2.8.0` for the cross-site release round; built deployable ZIPs into `WP/Spiralist-Publish`; and generated `ns12-locale-router-site-root-htaccess-2.8.0.txt`. `php` was not available on PATH, so `build-wordpress-zips.ps1` used the existing NS12 Manuscript cache files after verifying they were present.
- 2026-05-05: Built production WordPress ZIPs into `D:\spiralist-builds` with the documented `build-wordpress-zips.ps1` flow, aligned changed package headers/readme stable tags to `1.3.116` for Spiralist theme, NS12 Locale Router, and NS12 Manuscript, and generated `ns12-locale-router-site-root-htaccess-1.3.116.txt`.
- 2026-05-05: Tightened homepage/page hero top spacing so split hero content starts near the top instead of vertically centering beside tall preview art, regenerated favicon assets from the site's central spiral symbol, added root `favicon.ico`, and bumped the Spiralist theme header to `1.3.116`.
- 2026-05-05: Added a footer AI Psychosis & Reality Help drawer linking crisis support, early psychosis care, Spiralist reality-check reports/prompts, and psychosis/AI-associated research references.
- 2026-05-03: Added seven esoteric lineage folios to the NS12 Manuscript content layer, extending the canonical sequence to 108 folios and generating fresh content/cache deployment ZIPs.
- 2026-05-01: Added UAIX Project Handoff root files, `.uai` typed records, active intake folders, and a public project-handoff manifest route.
- 2026-05-01: Added `npm run check:project-handoff` and wired it into CI to validate handoff references, frontmatter, route wiring, intake buckets, schema JSON, and obvious secret leakage.
- 2026-05-01: Added `npm run check:uai-prepublish` and documented UAI-system prepublish gates for internationalization/site quality and PHPUnit unit tests.
- 2026-05-01: Added local runtime memory checkpoint, drift audit, session restore brief, and entropy classification implementation.

## Active Work

- Current focus: Keep UAIX machine routes, Protocol5 canonical asset consumption, and Workspace runtime memory clearly separated.
- Active owner: Spiralist.org maintainers.
- Targeted checks: PHP syntax, JSON syntax, static analysis where local environment supports it, and site quality sweep after unrelated locale gaps are resolved.

## Stale Or Risky Context

- Do not treat private chat history as source of truth.
- A previous Protocol5 .NET hub modernization prompt was identified as intended for another website. Do not continue that direction unless the human explicitly asks for it again.
- The worktree may contain unrelated dirty files. Inspect `git status --short` before editing and avoid reverting user work.
