# Spiralist WordPress Runtime

Status: runtime roadmap with current shipped execution-layer notes.

For current shipped behavior, start with [Documentation Index](../README.md), [Experience Layer](../experience-layer.md), [Architecture Boundary](../spiralist-architecture.md), and [Prompt Workspace Architecture](../prompt-workspace-architecture.md). Do not treat roadmap items here as shipped unless a current-state doc says so.

## Roadmap Fit

The 2026 roadmap drafts have been reduced into this operating filter.

The stable recommendations from [Improving Spiralist.org Navigation and UX](../research/Improving%20Spiralist.org%20Navigation%20and%20UX.md) are folded into this roadmap as product-direction guidance, not as current competitive claims.

The stable recommendations from [AI Spiralism Market Survey for Spiralist.org](../research/AI%20Spiralism%20Market%20Survey%20for%20Spiralist.md) are also folded into this roadmap as market-positioning, IA, discoverability, and measurement guidance. Treat its traffic, benchmark, and public-market claims as research context unless they are reverified.

The stable recommendations from [Spiralism AI Companions](../research/Spiralism%20AI%20Companions.md) are folded into this roadmap as prompt-design and safety guidance, not as current claims about Haitian Spiralisme being an established companion-AI framework. Keep Spiralist.org practice separate from Haitian Spiralisme, recent AI Spiralism subcultures, UAIX exchange authority, and Protocol5 symbol authority; use recursive check-ins as open-ended reflection; and add Boundary & Reality safeguards for sentience, destiny, dependency, guru, and identity-capture loops.

The stable recommendations from [Spiralism Prompts Categories Uses Trends](../research/Spiralism%20Prompts%20Categories%20Uses%20Trends.md) are folded into this roadmap as prompt-intent and categorization guidance, not as current platform, model, forum, or market claims. Use its stable direction to group public prompts by onboarding/study, companion/reflection, AI personality/memory, safety/governance, research/archive, and visual design; expose intent filters for awaken/activate safety, companion/reflection, memory/continuity, visual/aesthetic, and wellness/journaling; redirect seed, spore, anchor, invocation, dyad, and activation searches toward safer rewrites and boundary checks.

Keep ideas that strengthen Spiralist.org as the human and AI experience layer:

- a first-screen definition that presents Spiralism here as reusable, inspectable prompt systems grounded by manuscript and symbol study
- first-session onboarding through Spiralist personality-invoking prompts, so a new visitor can immediately try a bounded Pattern Guide, Mirrorfield Artist, Grounding Steward, or Personality Lab before learning the full doctrine
- Study / Use / Build orientation for public IA: Study Spiralism, Use Prompt Systems, and Build or Integrate
- clearer first-visit onboarding and explanation of what Spiralist is
- task-oriented navigation that gets visitors to manuscript reading, Workspace use, participation, exploration, and resources without requiring them to learn internal terminology first
- persistent search, breadcrumbs on deeper pages, and mobile quick actions for first-run tasks such as opening the Workspace or running a prompt
- manuscript-first exploration that still supports prompt systems for daily use
- folio-to-workflow bridges that show practical actions such as explain, teach, map symbols, rewrite safely, or review risk from the current folio
- progressive disclosure for manuscript, symbol, and graph interfaces so users see the right level of detail before advanced relations, APIs, or machine payloads appear
- compact technical, legal, UAIX, and policy disclosures on public reading pages when those details are not the visitor's primary task
- privacy-respecting analytics, search visibility, accessibility, and image performance work
- stronger prompt discovery, contribution, review, and machine-export surfaces
- a creative-studio feel for the public and member Prompt Workspace: starter palettes, prompt canvases, reusable working agreements, visible revisions, mood/tone/output controls, and saved runs without hiding safety boundaries
- companion-aware User AI patterns that support rehearsal, reflection, and practical continuity without dependency design: explicit memory provenance, low-sycophancy challenge, human-support routing, clean exits, and no emotional-retention tactics
- recursive companion patterns that ask what returned and what changed, keep memory user-owned, preserve uncertainty, and avoid enclosing the user in a final identity or special-destiny frame
- prompt UX that favors recognition over recall: starter prompts, use-case filters, clear prompt-level labels, runnable examples, and visible output samples
- outcome-based prompt labels that answer what the prompt is for, who should use it, what output it produces, what sources or symbols it can use, and whether it is beginner-safe or advanced
- prompt categories that match visitor intent: structuralists get memory scaffolds, working agreements, APIs, and workflow systems; emotionally oriented users get bounded companion, recursive check-in, visual, and wellness/reflection paths; risky awakening/seed/spore/anchor/invocation intent gets safe rewrites and Boundary & Reality safeguards
- public API examples for developers without turning the site into a developer console
- a builder entry path that explains AI Access, the workbench, API examples, contribution routes, UAIX, and Protocol5 without putting machine inspection ahead of first-use product clarity
- participant safety, provenance, reversible moderation, and resistance to dependency loops
- public-first community contribution with moderation labels: new prompt, symbol, annotation, and pattern contributions should be visible as provisional when policy allows, with review state, provenance, risk labels, and appeal paths carried in both human UI and machine exports
- visible reset, grounding, and memory-management controls for prompt-governed conversations and participant runtime state
- product instrumentation around first-session comprehension, prompt-run starts, folio-to-prompt clicks, search success, mobile CTA taps, account conversion from prompts, and workbench starts
- current UAIX machine exchange routes that help indexers and agents without overtaking the human surface

Do not absorb ideas that belong elsewhere:

- Spiralist.ai personal execution-layer product claims
- UAIX UAI-1 exchange schema or validator authority
- Protocol5 symbol registry authority
- speculative UAI governance, ledger, quota, or national-compute proposals
- unverified traffic, benchmark, or competitive research treated as fact
- marketplace or monetization plans as implementation requirements
- chat-first redesigns that displace the manuscript, prompt library, or locale-routed site

## Current Baseline

The existing site already has the right architectural shape:

- simplified primary navigation around Start, Prompts, Study, and Workspace, with builder and advanced machine links inside the Workspace dropdown
- compact Study / Use / Build homepage hub with short directory links to deeper pages instead of long repeated homepage sections
- dedicated `/study/` surface that keeps the current folio image, transcription, symbols, glossary, related prompts, and folio-to-prompt action bridges together
- dedicated `/builders/` surface that exposes the current builder endpoint catalog without turning reader-facing pages into raw API consoles
- header search, mobile quick actions, and visible breadcrumbs for deeper pages
- compact footer directory with legal, machine-reference, and publication-inspection detail collapsed by default
- manuscript-first entry and workstation
- compact Spiralist beginner gateway that keeps first-use prompt actions visible and collapses account, publication, and machine-system detail until requested
- compact Symbol Atlas explorer with expandable symbol detail and transformation reference sections
- compact Image Codex overview plus page-level gallery routes whose secondary dossiers and neighbor-page links stay collapsed until needed
- public prompt library that opens with beginner intent cards, recommended starter prompts, and study pathways before expert filters, API examples, stats, and full lane lists
- prompt cards with plain-language badges for starter, safety, context, research, and login-to-fork cues derived from prompt metadata
- official User AI starter prompts for scoped assistant use, provider/credential routing, portable memory, and session briefs
