# Archived Generic Audit Memo - 2026-04-23

This file replaces the original 2026 generic roadmap with a reconciled archive note.

The original memo described a broad rebuild plan for an assumed outdated or unreachable site, including audit tools, a generic Christian prophecy sitemap, donations, newsletter, comments, analytics, security, and budget ranges. Much of that memo no longer matches the repo because the custom theme now has a specific institutional architecture and many launch features are already implemented.

The active future roadmap is [07-infrastructure-roadmap.md](07-infrastructure-roadmap.md).

## Useful Ideas Retained

- Production should still be tested with performance, accessibility, SEO, and security tools before launch.
- Analytics and Search Console should be configured before public promotion.
- Newsletter/email tooling should be selected when Signals Briefing needs operational scale beyond WordPress storage.
- Donation/support tooling should be selected when support moves beyond the current fallback route.
- HTTPS, backups, update cadence, moderation rules, and legal/privacy pages matter.
- Multilingual work may be valuable later, but only after the English record stabilizes.

## Ideas Retired

These are not current direction:

- a generic evangelical prophecy-blog positioning
- an IA centered on `Scriptural Basis`, `Current Events`, and generic `Resources`
- generic budget estimates as repo guidance
- source-citation fragments from the original generated memo
- C# model notes, which do not apply to this PHP/WordPress theme
- treating membership as saved-articles personalization
- treating comments/forums as the main community layer
